Artist Bio
About the Artist
I'm an artist, maker and creative tutor with a lifelong love of colour, pattern and making things by hand.
I work mainly in watercolour and acrylic, painting landscapes and still life inspired by the beauty and character of everyday places and objects. I enjoy capturing the atmosphere, colours and feeling of a scene rather than simply reproducing it.
I've exhibited my work in a solo exhibition at St George's Hospital, as well as in group exhibitions and galleries in Ealing, Croydon and Epsom.
Alongside painting, I create vintage-inspired scarves and accessories through LanRetro, combining my love of art, colour, textiles and vintage style.
I'm also a creative tutor and art and craft party leader. I love helping people discover that they can be creative, regardless of their previous experience, and I'm developing my own art workshops, creative parties and online classes.
Through LanRetro, I bring these different sides of my creativity together - art, making and teaching.
I hope my work inspires you to slow down, look around you and find a little beauty in the everyday.
